ABOUT CRAIG

Craig Bourne studied Philosophy at Pembroke College, Cambridge, taking a BA (1995-1998), MPhil (1998-1999) and PhD (1999-2002). He was a Research Fellow at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge (2002-2006), Lecturer in the Cambridge Philosophy Faculty (2004-2005) and College Lecturer in Philosophy at Pembroke and New Hall, Cambridge (2006-2007), before joining the University of Hertfordshire in 2007, where he is currently Reader in Philosophy. He was awarded a Mind Association Research Fellowship  for 2019-2020.

ABOUT EMILY

Emily Caddick Bourne completed her BA (2004-2007), MPhil (2007-2008) and PhD (2008-2011) in Philosophy at Newnham College, Cambridge. From 2011 to November 2014, she was a Jacobsen Research Fellow at Birkbeck, University of London, based in the Institute of Philosophy. From 2011 to 2016, she was Academic Director and Teaching Officer in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education. She was a Trustee of the British Society of Aesthetics from 2016-2022. Emily is currently a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Manchester.

FAQ about our names: Emily's surname is 'Caddick Bourne' not 'Bourne'. Craig's surname, for professional purposes, is 'Bourne' (but is 'Caddick Bourne' when being unprofessional).  We are not 'The Bournes' for any purposes.
